By starting this blog titled "Free the Pen", I plan to share my daily progress hour by hour, word by word. It’s a kind of micro-diary. Due to my job requirements, I often have to write academically, and when you have a critical tone and weigh every word, it can sometimes become a very challenging process. But how does it feel to look at notes you've taken without doing anything while you have projects that need to be completed and new project drafts waiting in line?
If you've experienced writer's block before and something triggered it, I believe we can overcome it together with the community we’ll build here. I will occasionally post the word counts I've written in my journal, and even if it’s very little, my goal is to make progress and keep my head above water!
When I write, I don’t focus only on writing; I use notes taken from my readings. When I'm not writing, I usually spend time reading and taking notes, always striving to create the best version of the text.
